Compound Alchemy
Tucked away on the edge of Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood is a garden affectionately known to its residents as “the compound.” Two buildings share this garden and its koi pond, hammock, patio, fire pit, and the paths that wind through its wild plantings, sharing space with an array of found objects and art, seemingly chaotic but, in fact, carefully arranged into complex compositions of color and texture.
